Quarry proposal blasted

Sharon and Bridgette O’Malley have collected more than 300 signatures of people opposed to a proposed new quarry.

Wildlife near the North Pine Dam including koalas and birds could be threatened if approval is given for a new quarry to be built in the area.

That is the fear held by Sharon O’Malley, who is opposed to the proposed quarry near her Kurwongbah property.
