What services does your business offer?  All types of electrical work including new homes and renovations, sheds, power poles and underground power, power for pools, pumps, air conditioners, generators and treatment systems, and repairs, fault finding and maintenance.

What areas do your clients come from? Ocean View, Dayboro, Mt Mee, Woodford to Samford and surrounding areas.

What was your company’s first job? Repairs at a dairy farm.

How did you make your first dollar? Working at a mower shop on Saturday mornings.

How did you get into your current line of work? Wanting a challenge and to work in the local area to have a more flexible work-life balance.

Why is a business like yours so important? Because I live and work locally I am able to service local residents and businesses promptly, especially during storm season and emergencies.

What sort of clients does your business provide services to? Builders, homeowners, commercial premises, farms and community groups.

What is the most unique job your business has done?  Designed and constructed control boxes for pumps, irrigation systems and machinery control.

Before your current job, what were your previous occupations? Apprentice builder, generator manufacturer and high-rise construction.

What is the best part of your job?  Getting to know the local community and gaining a good customer base and reputation.

What do your customers most appreciate about your services? Good customer service, problem solving skills and great lighting and power solutions for any situation.

What advice would you give to anyone considering working in your line of work?  Be prepared to do any sort of job in all sorts of situations at any time day or night.

How do you spend your spare time? Building things around home and relaxing with family and friends.
